The Business Unit is notably responsible for risk control of the funds and mandates managed at Candriam. This management covers a wide range of processes: money market funds and mandates, high-yield funds, quality funds and emerging market funds, mixed funds, and insurance mandates. The BU is also involved in broker and counterparty management. The team currently consists of three people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
-Participate in the monitoring of the credit risks of the portfolios managed in Paris in collaboration with the credit risk managers in Paris,
-Credit analyses with a focus to the banks,
-Participate in the identification and monitoring of sources of credit risk (issuers, sectors, types of products, concentrations, etc.).
-Participate in the preparation, monitoring and control of compliance with the decisions of the Candriam Credit Committee&lt;br /&gt;

Candriam’s ESG research &amp; investment team has a mandate going beyond the analysis of issuers’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) opportunities and risk. Indeed, as a responsible investor and founding signatory of the UNPRI, our role is also to encourage issuers to adopt best practices in the ESG field and to work with them on emerging thematic or broader sustainability issues. In that respect, Candriam’s active voting policy, as well as its direct &amp; collaborative engagement efforts play a fundamental role in our approach. When Candriam believes our influence could be beneficial, we engage in dialogues with investees, exercise voting rights or any other rights attached to owned assets, collaborate with other investors, and communicate with relevant stakeholders.

Our dedicated Engagement and Voting Team of 5 iis looking for a young and bright professional in Brussels to support our engagement activities with issuers They will be;
a) supporting our engagement activities with issuers and client demands 
b) helping to define, build campaign(s) of dialogue on material social, environmental or governance topic, effectively participating to exchanges with the companies and eventually writing report(s) on their impact on the ESG opinion and the outcomes. 
c) working on materiality of stewardship trends
