The Senior functional Expert provides strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap.
The Senior IT Functional Expert plays a key role in supporting the definition and implementation of Finance, Accounting, Procurement and Fund Finance processes in close collaboration with business stakeholders and external partners.
The Senior Functional Expert is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
Strong expertise in Corporate and Fund Finance &amp; Accounting, including GL, AP/AR, closing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting

Act as a trusted business partner, managing stakeholder relationships with the ability to challenge requirements and proposed solutions constructively

Analyze and improve Finance, Accounting and Procurement processes, identifying inefficiencies and optimization opportunities

Contribute to the design, selection and implementation of end-to-end Finance solutions

Lead or contribute to transversal and transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities

Coordinate and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, IT, developers, vendors and system integrators

Translate business needs into clear requirements and support development, testing (QA), deployment and change management

Manage project planning, timelines, priorities and workload estimation, acting as a liaison between users and project teams

Drive process adoption, user satisfaction and continuous improvement

Demonstrate strong ownership, leadership and accountability for deliverables and outcomes&lt;br /&gt;

Our asset management company is a key player in the fund management industry in Luxembourg, managing a wide range of financial products for an international clientele. We are committed to compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) and are seeking to strengthen our KYC (Know Your Customer) team to meet increasing regulatory requirements.

This internship is planned for 6 months, ideally starting in June 2026.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
As a KYC Officer Intern, you will assist the KYC team in the verification and management of client files. Under the supervision of experienced professionals, you will be involved in the following tasks:
Collect and verify KYC documents for new and existing clients during periodic reviews.
Conduct research on clients, counterparties, and beneficial owners through external databases (e.g., World-Check).
Participate in the updating and maintenance of client files, ensuring compliance with local (CSSF) and international regulations.
Identify and analyze client-related risks, particularly in connection with high-risk countries or complex structures. Contribute to the preparation of internal and external reports related to client files.
Assist the team in implementing internal procedures related to anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT).
Collaborate with other departments (Compliance, Sales teams) to respond to internal inquiries regarding clients and counterparties.
Help manage KYC review alerts and contribute to their resolution.

As Junior Fund Finance Officer within the Fund Finance &amp; Manco Services team, you will contribute to the day-to-day (BAU) execution of fund finance activities while progressively developing a broader understanding of fund fee operations, fee controls, and key financial/accounting drivers across Candriam's fund structures, covering both UCITS and AIF vehicles.           
You will support recurring controls, payment follow-up, reconciliations, data quality checks, and reporting activities, while being encouraged to understand the rationale behind the numbers, raise questions, identify inconsistencies, and suggest practical improvements to processes, tools, and ways of working. An interest in digital tools, automation and pragmatic AI use cases, or the potential to develop this orientation over time, will be valued.
The role involves close collaboration with fund administrators, auditors, and other external service providers, as well as cross‑jurisdictional management company teams, including Legal Fund Management, Product Management, Risk Management, and Portfolio Management... Reporting directly to the Head of Fund Finance &amp; Manco Services, you will progressively grow into a more autonomous role with increasing responsibility on value-added analyses and cross-functional initiatives.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
·        Support day-to-day fund business administration, including invoice checks, payment follow-up, reconciliations, data quality reviews, and maintenance of financial information.
·        Perform recurring controls on fees, expenses, accruals, and service provider data, and escalate breaks or unusual items in a timely manner.
·        Help prepare analyses for budgeting, forecasting, fee reviews, product cost follow-up, and profitability monitoring.
·        Monitor selected KPIs and cost trends, and contribute to identifying risks, inconsistencies, or optimisation opportunities.
·        Liaise with asset servicers (fund accountants, custodians, administrators) and support the follow-up of deliverables, issues, and action points.
·        Contribute to the quality and reliability of reporting, documentation, and control evidence within the fund finance framework.
·        Work closely with fund administrators, Service Providers, legal, risk, auditors, management company teams across jurisdiction (portfolio management, compliance...) on day-to-day topics and specific requests.
·        Develop the habit of understanding the “why” behind processes and figures and raise relevant questions when something appears unclear or inconsistent.
·        Contribute to fund lifecycle events, new product launches, restructurings, and changes in operating models by supporting financial and operational assessments.
·        Participate in the continuous improvement of processes, controls, and ways of working, with a progressive expectation to propose and follow through on improvements.
·        Show interest in digital tools, automation, data analysis and practical AI use cases, or the ability to develop this orientation over time, in ways that can enhance efficiency, control quality or reporting.
·        Build autonomy progressively on designated topics and take accountability for delivering assigned analyses, follow-ups, and action items to a high standard.
