Mission

You will join the Swiss Sales team, composed of seven professionals based in Zurich and Geneva, as well as the Strategic Partnerships team located in Zurich and Paris. Working closely with both teams, you will actively contribute to the development of our European partnership strategy while providing key support to the Swiss sales activities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to both the Swiss domestic market and the broader global landscape. You will collaborate with multiple teams across the organization, developing a comprehensive understanding of Candriam and the asset management industry.

The Swiss distribution team is an integral part of Candriam’s global distribution platform and works closely with investment centers in Brussels, Paris, Luxembourg, and London. As Candriam is part of the New York Life Investments group, you will also have the opportunity to interact with affiliated investment firms worldwide.

Responsabilité

Your responsibilities:

Swiss Sales Team:

  • Support the sales team in preparing client meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and documentation, and ensure proper follow-up actions
  • Participate in client meetings and conferences, supporting both client acquisition and relationship management efforts
  • Prepare and present financial market insights for regular internal meetings
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders across departments to support responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Assist in organizing client visits, sales events, and marketing and communication initiatives to strengthen brand awareness in Switzerland
  • Act as a Salesforce key user, ensuring data quality through regular updates
  • Fully integrate within the Swiss team and support activities across both Zurich and Geneva offices

 

Strategic Partnership Team:

  • Conduct in-depth research to identify new business and partnership opportunities across European markets
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings and strategic recommendations
  • Analysing and presenting distribution & client activity

Profil

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or Investment Management
• Fluency in English; good command of German and French is a plus
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
• High attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is an advantage
• Team-oriented, creative, and rigorous approach to work

This position offers a broad and challenging exposure to institutional sales support within a leading and growing European asset manager. You will work closely with experienced sales professionals while developing your expertise in the asset management industry, with a particular focus on responsible investing (ESG).
