Mission

During this 6-month internship starting as soon as possible, the Middle Officer Derivatives will be responsible for:

Responsabilities

We would like to hire a new intern to support the team in its daily tasks.

The main missions of the intern will be:

Post trade – OTC derivatives:

  • Trade validation credit, rate, equity & FX bilateral derivatives
  • Timey confirmation of contracts related to OTC swaps
  • Management of life cycle cash flows (e.g. coupons, premiums & pay offs)


Post trade – listed derivatives:

  • Manage the daily reconciliation breaks
  • Liaise with the trading desk the clearing broker and the execution broker on a daily basis to resolve booking issues


Collateral management:

  • Compute the exposure at the investment fund level
  • Process daily margin calls
  • Mitigate counterparty risk on a daily basis
  • Investigate disputes and achieve timely resolution
  • Monitor settlements

Profile

Experience in asset management or with a sell side player.

- Knowledge of financial markets and financial market instruments (both securities and derivatives),
- Understanding of front to back trade processing
- Basic knowledge of the investment management industry
- Have a good command of excel (VBA), word, access and ppt.
