Mission

The Senior Technical expert has a key role in the team. This position does not require team management responsibilities, but does require a strong technical leadership. The Senior IT Technical Expert is considered as the technical Referent within the team and will be able to work closely with developers and business analysts but also other transversal teams (such as Architecture or Infra & Production teams). In our context, he plays a central role in accelerating IT transformation and the deployment of strategic projects such as the Unique Referential.

Responsabilities

The Senior Technical Expert will :

Demonstrates a deep and comprehensive understanding of his area of expertise

Always stays on top of the latest developments and research in his area of expertise thanks to continuous learning

Define and communicate standards and best practices

Monitors the use of these guidelines inside IT teams

Validates the architecture and the technical document of new applications or major developments before presentation to the architecture committee, for projects requiring his domain of expertise

Provide guidance and advice to people in the company facing strategic decisions related to his area of expertise

Help solving complex problems or provide solutions to challenging issues

Conveying complex subjects in a way that is understandable to any kind of audience

Pass his knowledge to IT teams through training sessions in particular for new comers

Guiding and mentoring for IT Technical Analysts

Willing and able to work with others to address multidisciplinary challenges effectively

Contribute to the company's transformation by implementing innovative solutions in his field of expertise and support business initiatives

Take full responsibility for missions, activities, decisions and results

Actively participates in the community of experts

Profile


Minimum of 10 years experience in data projects

Experience in delivery using agile methodology specially Scrum

Good knowledge topics (Data Quality, Data Governance…)

Ability to work and communicate with all profiles in a multidisciplinary team (sharing, listening)

Expertise (defined in the Candriam standards) recognized in a technical domain

Analytical and critical thinking skills

Pragmatic, proactive, rigorous and process-respectful

Being accountable for his work and actions

Pay attention to details

Effective communicators (written and verbal)

Strong training ability and commitment to ongoing learning

Research skills to know where to find relevant information

Technical skills
• Microsoft .Net framework expertise: .Net Core / ASP.Net / Web API / Rest API

Test based development frameworks

Microsoft Azure development stacks

Azure devops specialist (ideally with a certification)

Agile practitioner (ideally with a certification)

ITIL certification
