Mission
Referentials Teams has recently taken over the update of raw data and monitors the reporting impact indicator generation (covering overrides / corrections).
The team is also responsible of being the point of contact for 5 key external ESG Data Providers and with our aggregator BDNS.
Responsabilities
Within the Referentials and Pricing team, Candriam is looking for an ESG Data Officer to monitor the ESG raw data update process and anticipate / follow up activities related to ESG Providers data feeding.
The main tasks will be:
· To lead and monitor the update process by organizing daily meetings with the business.
· To verify and analyze ESG data provided by external ESG providers or calculated by Candriam.
· To manage the override process.
· To document the ESG data catalog and its lineage.
Other important tasks include :
· Being the point of contract of the 5 main external ESG data providers.
· Monitoring all ESG data scope and process.
· Understanding ESG data to facilitate communication with other departments within Candriam.
· Developing and automatic and relevant mapping with ESG providers at company level.
· Detecting and checking companies losing their ESG data.
· Work closely with IT teams to ensure the implementation of ESG data projects.
The new joiner is also expected to participate to Masterfile Securities and issuers activities, contributing to the day-to-day production:
· Creation of a variety of financial securities (from basic to more complex).
· Maintenance and control of the main database through the development of VBA Macros and Excel.
The resource will work closely with ESG team, Front Office, IT department, but also with Reporting team and Risk Management.
Profile
Master of Finance, Sustainable Finance, Economy, Statistics or Engineering.
Good experience in Data Analysis, in Extra-financial analysis.
Mastery in Excel, VBA, Python.
Good Analytical mind-set.
Detail oriented.
Ambitious, communicative, rigorous, team-spirit.
