Candriam is opening a branch in Stockholm to continue its market share development within the institutional space and Wholesale distribution in the Nordics.
We are looking for the Head of Sales who will oversee these markets, , manage the existing book of business and further develop the commercial activities.
The sought professional will be responsible for:
- Actively participate, in collaboration with the Head of Sales Benelux and Nordics to whom he/she will report, in defining sales targets and implementing a commercial strategy to achieve them.
- Identify, pursuing opportunities and cultivating relationships with Nordics existing or new clients to commercialize Candriam’s UCITS fund platforms and solutions.
- Building strong external and internal relationships with the Investment Teams and other relevant functions (i.e. Client Portfolio Managers, Macro-economists, Strategists, etc.).
- Participate in the organization and animation of market events such as macro-economic road shows intended to increase Candriam's branding in the Nordic markets. For this, he/she will rely on Marketing & Communication teams based in Brussels, Luxembourg or Paris.
Ideal candidate will have strong relationships with Nordics investors, from wholesale distribution and/or Institutional spaces, and a proven track record of raising assets from them.
- Minimum 10 years of business development experience.
- Ability to be a strong team player whilst also managing and directing sales efforts for the team.
- Result oriented and deal maker mindset.
- Thorough understanding of world investment markets and associated products.
- Ability to analyze, understand and promote the Candriam range according to the needs of different targeted clients/countries.
- Energy and a visible leadership presence with the ability to promote and progress the CANDRIAM sales agenda.
- Ability to articulate a position, deal with complexities in a practical and straightforward manner, attract and retain talent, and communicate effectively across multiple layers in the organization.
- Stakeholder management – to be viewed by colleagues as collaborative and keen to do the right thing by the wider firm as well as ensuring that CANDRIAM's objectives are not lost in the process.
- Executive presence, credibility and integrity; able to gain trust and respect.
