Mission
As a Performance & Data Analyst within Candriam’s Performance Measurement team, you will be part of a global, multi-specialist asset management firm recognized for its commitment to sustainable and responsible investments. In this role, you will help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our investment performance data, supporting both internal stakeholders (such as Portfolio Managers and RFP teams) and external reporting needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional who is passionate about data, enjoys solving problems, and wants to build a long-term career in asset management. You will learn how financial data supports investment decisions and client transparency, and gradually take on more responsibility as you grow in expertise.
Responsabilities
• Collect, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources into the performance calculation tool
• Maintain and monitor the scope of portfolios in production
• Produce and distribute performance and allocation results to meet various business needs
• Support projects that enhance data quality, efficiency, or client value
• Contribute to data-related initiatives (governance, automation, and quality improvement)
• Analyze existing systems and processes to identify optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with teams across Candriam to ensure reliable and timely data delivery
Profile
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong interest in data, analytics, and financial markets
• Solid data management and Excel skills
• Familiarity with VBA, SQL, Python, Power BI, or database concepts is a plus (not a requirement)
• Curious and analytical mindset, with a structured and methodical way of working
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
• Previous experience with performance tools (e.g., StatPro, Bisam, FactSet) is an asset, but not required
