Within the ESG Investment & Research team, we are looking for an intern to join us from January 2026 as an ESG Quant Analyst Junior Intern, contributing to projects that combine ESG expertise, quantitative analysis, and data-driven insights to support sustainable investment strategies.
His/Her tasks will be as follows:
- Act as point of contact within the ESG team regarding ESG Data
- Analyze ESG data providers (new data, comparison, review of current providers with analysts)
- Regularly update ESG data or perform analysis (e.g., carbon data for green bonds, oppressive regimes, state-owned enterprises)
- Enhance the dedicated Data Management System used to support data provider choices and ESG analysis process evolution for business projects
- Assist in analyzing ESG data needs and feasibility in case of mandates/RFPs
- Participate in internal and external working groups linked to ESG data/universe
- Support ESG Universe and ESG model updates
- Preparing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Quantitative -Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- Analytical and synthetical mindset, proactive
- Strong knowledge of programming languages: Python / SQL; familiarity with machine learning libraries
- Knowledge or experience with AI, particularly LLMs and text classification
- Solid understanding of data science fundamentals: statistics, machine learning, data mining
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse and PowerBI is a plus
- Understanding of financial markets and strong interest in ESG topics (climate change, ESG regulation)
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
