Mission

At Candriam, our RFP team plays a crucial role in responding to investment proposals from institutional clients and supporting our fund distribution efforts across asset classes. We cover equities, bonds, absolute return, diversified portfolios, and ESG analysis for our sales desks across the world.

 

This strategic function offers a holistic view of the Asset Management business, involving all company departments to ensure accurate and competitive responses. We're seeking an RFP Analyst to join our team of 10 professionals based in Brussels, Paris, and London.

 

Responsabilities

You will be based in Brussels and will be responsible for the following tasks:

Coordinating and writing investment proposals on all asset classes covered by Candriam. This includes RFPs from institutional clients, RFI’s from distributors and DDQs at the company level. You lead the answering process from beginning to end. To do so your responsibilities are to:

Analyze incoming RFP’s and RFI’s, and prepare RFP kick off meetings with all involved departments,
Collect necessary input by searching the dedicated internal library, and contacting other departments,
Produce the proposal document, combining accurate and concise answers with an attractive and commercial style,
Become the content expert and coordinate knowledge sharing on different asset management fields,
Partner with our ESG team to review specific ESG responses and their consistency with the firm’s ESG DNA and process,
Keep up with the industry’s ESG trends and regulation and provide regular updates to the Global RFP team,
Contribute to the RFP team organizational efficiency, by bringing improvement to the answering process.
 

 

Exercising the RFP analyst function is a highly collaborative process with all Candriam teams that will provide you with the necessary input. 

You will have the opportunity to work with Client Relationship Managers, experienced investment fund and portfolio managers, Operations, Marketing, HR, Risk Management, legal and Finance.

Profile

You hold a Master degree with a major in Marketing, Finance, Economics or Journalism,
You have a passion for financial markets and the investment management industry,
2 to 4 years' experience in a commercial position preferably in asset management or banking,
Interest and experience in ESG would be preferred,
English & Dutch Fluent is key,
You are able to work in an autonomous and flexible way,
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage priorities,
Ability to meet deadlines,
Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and good team spirit,
Good writing skills to present our products in a commercial way,
Excellent command of Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Strong capabilities for digital tools,
