The Fundamental European Equity Investment team is composed of ten Financial Analysts/Fund Managers, one Technical Analyst and two Client Portfolio Managers.
The Investment Process of the team is very integrated from analysis to investment decision.
Candriam is looking to recruit a Senior Equity Fund Manager.
He/She will manage different large caps Sustainable European Equity funds/mandates.
He/she will challenge the fundamental analysts as well as the top down view of the Head of the team.
His/Her main tasks are as follows:
- Fund Management: participate to asset allocation decisions, contribute to bottom-up views about European Equity markets, challenge of the fundamental stock picking within the team.
- Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions.
- Monitor the portfolio performance.
- Interact with clients, directly or through the Client Portfolio Manager, to understand their investment goals, and provide investment advice and guidance.
- Communicate investment strategy updates, market outlooks. Participate in industry conferences.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, legal requirements, and internal policies. Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices.
Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Engineering, CFA.
- Extensive experience in European Equity fund management.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment theories, and equity strategies.
- Proven track record of successful investment performance.
- Solid understanding of risk management principles and techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Effective leadership.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate investment strategies and insights to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, investment management software.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in portfolio management.
- Team mindset.
- Fluent in French and English.
